I’ve been drawing a lot – mostly sketches of friends and family. It has become a great source of comfort and distraction from pain. Here – a self-portrait of me sitting at home whilst drawing, with eyes focused and a gentle, peaceful smile on my face. I don’t have to always think about the monster in my face, sometimes I can simply observe the monstera growing behind my shoulder instead.
